We just went with 18x18 tile, it looks nice easy to maintain.

Looks nice Fred, mine looks very similar just a shade darker.

We have it in all the baths, entry, dining room, kitchen, dinette, halls to bedrooms and laundry room and pantry. The rest is carpet, we don't have any hardwood floors, I thought we would just tear it up and figured the tile is a little more durable. I'd have liked to of had more carpet but we track in so much dirt and mud I didn't want to clean it all the time.

Concrete inside and out.

I'd paint the yard green.

I was visiting my sister in San Diego when I was a teen and saw a home with green painted concrete. That was awesome!

Damn, carpet cleaner must think the same way, because we have very similar 18x18 tiles but ours has the wanna be travertine look.
