Wood glue on hose cuffs?

Am I missing something here? Why are they recommending wood glue?

Don’t glue them….
Use teflon pipe tape, the wide stuff, and go around numerous times around the hose end. BEFORE you thread your cuff on. It creates an excellent air tight seal.

That way, it you do ever have to remove or replace a cuff, you haven’t ruined it….

What ever happened to the guy who's shop burned down from the sprayer being charged?

Good way to ruin the cuff and hose. A little goop goes a long way and you can still get it off if you need to.
