That's the reason I'm considering going from 2, 2" hoses to the door, down to just a single 2.5" vac hose to the door.

I had 50 feet of 2.5 hose on my reel. Too stiff and cumbersome so after 3 years I went back to all two inch.

You might have a point on that airflow thing. I have 2 2" hoses coming off my waste tank to a Y and then to 2.5" hose. One of the filters in my waste tank always has two to three times as much junk in is as the other filter?

We run about 50' of 2.5" to our filter box then a single 2" from there ( or double 2" if -2- wands going.)
Maybe our filter box has confused air
