normally I use the shut off valves with the plastic shut offs........but I had one break on me and the only one I had on the truck had a metal shut off......

long story short...it got drug across a tile floor and the metal shut of left lines/scratch marks on the surface of the tile...is there anything that will buff these out..........

Jim I accidently scratched a tile floor while moving a refrigerator once, didn't have anything with me but the inside of a red
Pad, scrubbed it with that and buffed with brush on 175 and all came out good

not sure Jim but a scotch brite pad may do the trick, anything aggressive should buff it off hopefully.

I try to always leave the sol line hooked to turbo until I am over a moving blanket or out of the house.

Let us know how you come out.

Abrasive household cleanser, like Comet, will remove metal scratches from ceramic tile.

Done it a couple of times -

straight acid cleaner of your choice and 000 steel wool

I only know how to take these marks off on a porcelain sink. Comet and a cork. It would be a pita to do this on a floor though.

Not sure the tile type but Mr. Clean magic eraser can do wonders on a lot of mistakes. I know it sounds too simple.....

over aggressive abrasives can damage a finish especially if it is glossy.
