Try a bit of teflon tape around the threads.

Has to be a minor repair.
Re insert correctly.
Make sure threads are in correctly.
Good luck.
Not sure what torque would be a good snug should suffice

Depends on where it is leaking.
The only leak that is fixable is if it is leaking around the threads.
Anywhere else it is toast.

Find out what temp and go to the auto parts store and get a new one if it doesn't stop after sealing the threads.
