Had a good conversation with Damon Williams about my last thread where Green Dragon left some powder behind. I have since tried it again on another job but this time did not over apply the heavy areas and everything turned out fine. The key to using Green Dragon is not to flood the heavy traction areas. Just let it do it's thing as normal. It was user error on my part. That said, I will stick with a crystallizer for encap, just in case I over apply in some nasty areas.

Damon sent me a couple of bottles of his new formula of Awesome Encap bio friendly. I was very happy with the results and so was the customer when I called the next morning. It gave off a pleasant orange scent without being overbearing. I like thats its safe and doesn't cause me or my son to cough.

Full disclosure. Damon sent me 2 16 oz bottles to try out. He did not ask me to make the video. Just giving my honest opinion, which sometimes isn't popular.

Does it do anything different from what you were previously using?

The wear was pre-existing. The powder was from over application. That being said. I won’t ever use a powdered encap again. I like to over apply.

I thought we learned this lesson back in 2008 with Taf
