The whole time I had my holed green glide that was close out version, for my 14 sapphire titanium wand.

I always took the back lip off and tapped it on.

Thing squealed worse then @hogjowl after church at Walmart.

Glue was always a bad fix cause two days later I needed it for tile that glides fine with the back metal off

Today I switched to the front lip and beholden to my ears Marty's gone.

All these years thinking Mike did me wrong Doah!

The new Glides require that you take both lips off....
Well this one is brand new because it was a banshee for so long.

I said Susie Q stop screaming dang howler monkey.

I may never take this off now that it's not doing that.

But if and when I need a new one I'll order one.

I just feel dumb not at least trying to take a different lip off to see.

The newest version for the sapphires are made from a 1 inch dowel and you would never be able to fit it with either lip still installed.

It's been close to 2 years since I switched to this design.

The manufacturer saw the benefits and has mimic'd my design, but stuck with the inch and a quarter the size and unfortunately got the internal dimensions wrong on their first run..
It's only offered it in the slot style and they do not feature the flat face and in my opinion their slot opening is far too wide.
