Wanted the boards collective expertise on what you would start with to remove this blue transfer from new jeans. What chems and what techniques.
Luckily long time customer knew not to mess with it before I could.

Haven't tested it yet but pretty sure it's synthetic.
Thanks!

Good pics!

You are fortunate to have one of those rare times when the fiber of the fabric you are cleaning is listed, and more fortunate that it is polyester, and not a natural fiber material.

I have my best success with a combination of solvency and oxidation. It won't work all of the time, but it works enough to be worth the try.

My formula is this:

2 scoops of OxyBuff Cotton Shampoo
2 ounces of Citrus Solve II
1 gallon of very hot water.

Apply, brush in, and find something to do for about 20 minutes. Cleaning the rest of the sofa with whatever you usually use for upholstery will probably give you plenty of time.

Rinse with a heated cleaning solution, containing either the acid rinse or neutral detergent of your choice.

If you already have a supplier who takes good care of you, you can get the above mentioned products from them, or whatever equivalent that they might suggest.

If not, you can always help me keep my lights on by going here:
