Wanted to know what tip sizes I should be using on a quad jet wand for a performer 405? I think Prochem suggests all the jets not adding up more than 06 because of heat loss if more flow than that? Thanks for any info in advance.

Dave I run 06 on mine and I can hold the trigger open for ages and not see even a smidgeon in temp drop on the gauge. I don't normally clean higher than 220-230 at the machine unless I really want to get it cooking. I'm going to go to 08 and see what happens. I don't feel that 06 is enough to do the job I want quickly.

We routinely run 8's and above with ours.

No problem!

So the total of jet sizes that you use is 08?

Shouldn't the performer405 be able to handle more flow?

I think it can handle picking the water back up at high flow rates, especially with a glided wand and with a Y. I'm not sure about how much heat loss I will get at higher flow.

Give it a go Dave - 4 x 02 jets. Works for Lee, that's good enough for me... :)
