How long did you tell them it would last like that?

Typically we'll touchup the kitchen and laundry room around 12 months. Other traffic areas 12-24 months. Other areas will be 3-5 years or more.

Mopping kills these floors. As long as they maintain it, it should be relatively easy to keep looking nice. We live in the desert though so dust mopping daily is a must. Only takes a few minutes each day

Cameron, what do you use for the edges/corners/etc. where the Cimex doesn't reach?

Most of the edging was done just by overlapping the Cimex to the wall, but it areas where it really needed to be done well, I used a swing machine. Swing first, then Cimex. THEN, at the end, we went around and detailed the outside corners with a hand polisher.

This travertine was surprisingly good quality. It's from Mexico. The best travertine comes from Mexico.

Very nice. Just different polishing pads on Cimex?

Yes, you need pads that are designed for planetary, or to take extra weight or they will just burn out. Right now I use the Typhoons from DP Canada.
