I wonder how this would work in a waste tank?

Sodium Percarbonate

This ingredient allows for the claims of being food safe and it does have some antimicrobial properties.

Putting it in a tablet form makes it easy to use in a dishwasher.

The other ingredients would be helpful in preventing cloudy residues on glass.

I'm not sure how the tablet would work in a truck mount recovery tank, but it would be worth testing out in a portable. Few things are as nasty as a portable pushing foul smelling waste water vapor through the place.

Prior to finding these tablets, we resorted to hand washing all our glassware due to the cloudyness.

All gone.

The hot water in the dishwasher activates it, so I don't think it'd work in a recovery tank since the water in it is only lukewarm

The cheapest enzyme should work better.
Suck a few ounces into the tank after discharging.
