Drimaster handle issue

I just bought a used drimaster rotary and I am having problems with the adjustable handle slipping up and down even though I have it tightened as much as possible. I have tried several things to try to remedy with no success. I can't be the only CC with this issue.
Any tips as to how to fix this.

I would call hydramaster. If it's anything like the rx it's a common issue. Have them send you the manual while you're at it.

I just added a couple rubber washers. Mine had the problem out of the box. Hasn't slipped since.

thx

Thanks I'll give it a try.
You would think there would be grooves machined into the sides then have a grooved adjustable nut.

How do you like the drimaster? Do you find yourself using it more than the wand?

Actually I bought the thing, and got so busy with tile, I gave up cleaning carpet. I did use it on my house last week and really like it, just not enough use for a good opinion.

I used the Drimaster exclusively daily for well over a year and loved it. It got me a ton of busniess due to the good job it did with ridiculous dry times. If you clean high end residential carpets that are lightly soiled to moderate, It is a great tool.

When the RV360 came out my Drimaster was history.
