This is likely just a Kirby salesman.

You'd be surprised how many established and respected cleaning companies got started when the owner/founder ended up cleaning more carpet than selling Kirbys.

You can always tell when there's an ambitious new guy in town by the overabundance of door hangers, flyers and all the other marketing gimmicks that we've all done in our first year ('s)

I haven't done any of the above mentioned yet. Been thinking about doing door hangers for when we're in an area with a bunch of condos or townhouses. Where there's a common parking lot that has the doors of decent homes all around it. I don't think I'll ever walk up peoples driveways to private houses and put door hangers up, seems intrusive.

Maybe neighborhoods with 1 to 2 million dollar private homes I can target with direct mailers. We had some glossy trifold brochures printed for potential commercial clients so we can do route marketing between jobs. Each time I spend a few hours doing route marketing between jobs I get 1 or 2 commercial jobs out of it.

I really want to learn how to effectively do Facebook Ads or Google Ads. Seems like a really good use of my time with the push of a button if it's done right. Haven't tried any yet. I was thinking about making a post inquiring with people here as to which aveneue is more fruitful for them in 2024, Facebook Ads or Google Ads...
